Nordic walking between Maggiore Lake and Piemontesi Alps - TRIP CODE: NORDWALK
The Nordic Walking is a technique of sporting walk that perfectly adapts him to every person and to every band of age. It foresees the use of special canes to favor a correct walk, fluid and harmonica and to help to have a correct posture. It is an activity to practise to the open one in any meteorological condition; during the training it is possible to admire the surrounding landscape to let him dip from the contact with the nature in harmony with his/her own breath the cardiac pulsations. The walk develops him for the more on terrestrial level alternating paths, selcialti, secondary roads, cycle footsteps, carriage.
1st day: VIGEZZO VALLEY, CHIMNEY SWEEP AND PAINTERS VALLEY
Morning devoted to the Nordic Walking in the surrounding pinewood.
Lunch to Santa Maria Maggiore.
In the afternoon visit of the town, of the Museum of the Chimney Sweep and eventually in the suburb of Craveggia.
Notes: possibility to also effect this day with the Vigezzina Train (in this case you cannot be reached however Craveggia).
2nd day: BALCONY ON MAGGIORE LAKE
Morning devoted to the Nordic Walking leaned out on the Maggiore Lake.
Lunch to Cannero.
In the afternoon visit to the botanical garden of Villa Taranto.
3rd day: BORROMEE ISLANDS
Day of pure tourism to the discovery of the Borromee Islands: Bella Island, Pescatori Island and Madre Island.
Lunch to Pescatori Island.
4th day: MACUGNAGA AND ROSA MOUNTAIN
Morning devoted to the Nordic Walking to the feet of the impressive east wall of the Rosa Mountain.
Lunch to Macugnaga.
In the afternoon visit to the House Museum Walser or of the gold Mine.
5th day: ATMOSPHERES AND ORTA LAKE LANDSCADE
Morning devoted to the Nordic Walking to the Orta Lake.
Lunch.
In the afternoon visit of the island of St. Giulio and the suburb of Orta.
