1st day: Bergamo and Former Monastery of Astino - LUNCH INCLUDED
Located between the Bosco dell’Allagrezza (the “Cheerfulness Wood”) and the Benaglia Hill, the Astino Valley immediately conveys a sense of piece and serenity. That’s why in 1170 the vallombrosan monks decided to build their monastery and the Santo Sepolcro here. Do a stroll until Upper Bergamo!

Afternoon dedicated to the free visit of Bergamo, a medieval city, surrounded by ramparts built in the sixteenth century. The most known and busiest part of the Upper Town is the Piazza Vecchia, with its fountain Contarini, the Palazzo della Ragione, the Torre Civica (known as Campanone) that still today at 10 pm 100 body shots (which in the past announces the closure night of the gates of the Venetian walls), and other buildings that surrounded it on all sides.

2nd day: Carrara Academy and Moscato di Scanzo - LUNCH INCLUDED
Breakfast in hotel.
Morning dedicated to the free visit of Bergamo. We suggest you the visit of Accademia Carrara: one of the main Italian picture galleries, it is the only one that was created by means of the generous donations of many private collectors: it has been keeping numerous masterpieces form more than two-hundred years, reaching the impressive amount of 1.800 works of art.
